I bought 2 pekin 'pullets' that were aparently 12wks old but as I have never had this breed before I have know idea, but thought they looked a little small.
One lookes to be a silver partridge and the other is a coloured mottle effect.
So here goes...gulp....
These are the two at 12 weeks old when I bought them
Here are the same birds 3 weeks later
You can see a big difference in the two. One very red large comb and wattle
This one I hope to be a pullet, but I dont know
This is the one I think might be a roo
There has been no crowing but they do like to have the odd play fight.
Oh, and the mottled one is definately braver and more aggressive, as it is the only chicken that has ever bitten me before.
