Hi I’m new to Pekins only this year I’ve had them but I’ve had chickens for nearly ten years now I’m wondering if Pekins breed true to color I have a laavender hen a mottled hen and a white rooster one chick has hatched so far and another pipes that one is lavender so will all of them be lavender ??? Please help any info will be greatly appreciate

Apparently white can be hiding other colors...

Otherwise, if the color breeds true... doesn't matter what the breed. Yes, Pekin (Cochin) will breed true.

Check out this color calculator... It doesn't account for leakage and you have to learn what the little symbols mean.. * might be recessive for or split to... The second drop down tab is in English...
