My pekin Mary Lou has been limping for like two weeks or so, I have no clue what she did or what's wrong. There are no visible signs of injury.
Well it's gottin worse. She really doesn't limp any more but she will only take a few steps and then sits down for a long period of time.
She is having trouble jumping the foot or so to get into the coop and this morning she was VERY hesitant to jump out and when she finally did she immediately sat down and I had to step over her to get in.
I am afraid she got some kind of tumor or something going on in there. If it gets worse I am not sure how I am going to or bring myself to cull her.
I have had her for more than three years now and is just a bit old pet.

Check the bottom of her foot. It could very well be 'bumblefoot'. I am going through this right now with almost all of my chickens and one of my ducks. A lot of people say to cut out the infection out and squeeze out the puss and I'm sure it works well (I have also read that when you are squeezing out the puss you can push the infection up into their legs and cause many more problems) but I called my vet who has many chickens and other birds and he said to soak there feet in a betadine soak... I just squeeze a bunch in a shallow tub and mix it up until it is a rich yellow color and hold them in it for 5 minutes. You could also just fence her in a tub to soak for for 5 minutes. Repeat everyday for 5-7 days. He also said to put teramectyn in there water. 1 teaspoon to 1 gallon of water. The causes for bumblefoot in ducks is because of plastic and concrete. If you have a wading pool that she can touch the bottom of, that could cause bumblefoot. I would advise getting a pool for her that is deep enough so that she can't touch the bottom in... My duck that has bumblefoot has it because we recently rescued her from a park that is concrete everywhere and she spent a lot of time in the shade on the concrete.
If it is bumble foot it might look something like this:

Good luck with your duckie, keep us posted and ask me if you have any questions about what I just said

You can google 'bumblefoot in ducks' to get more information if needed

ETA: If she doesn't show signs of bumblefoot then feel her joints for anything 'crunchy' or signs of fracture. Hope this helps and I'm

No Duckfanatic it's not bumblefoot I checked for that already.
I wish it was I know how to treat that, done it many a times for chickens.

But thanks for the help.

By the way Mary Lou is a rescue from a park as well.
When I first got her she was really wild and very wary of humans and now she will eat out of my hand, she doesn't like to be picked up though but I never push that on her.

Gah I was really hoping it was... only because it's easy to treat

I hope you can find out what's wrong.. maybe a lack of protein or....? Hopefully it's nothing bad and you can help her
