i have 6 ducks, 2 pekins (pippin and pepper, drake brothers) and 4 muscovy ducklings (lucky, bella, maple, and marshmallow, 1 drake 3 hens) my pekins were sweet at first very nice and super cute! i did not get them as ducklings and i don't know how old they are either. My bigger pekin (pepper) well charge at me every time i leave the pen now and this is new to because he has never done this. My tiny bit smaller pekin pippin doesn't do anything though, is pepper protecting his brother from me? is he territorial?

He's just being a normal drake. One of my Muscovy drakes would wait till I turned to leave their pen and I would hear him walking fast from behind me, I would turn around and he'd stop and look around like "what" he never touched me though it was just his way of being Mr. Macho. You don't want him to nip or attack you and hopefully it won't come to that. But incase it does bring the broom along and keep him at broom length so he cannot be aggressive to you.

One of my boys likes to sneak up behind me and jump on me! He immediately runs off afterwards though. He is so silly!

Lol, our drake does this too. Such a tough guy when my back is turned, thinks I can't hear him sneaking up on me :)

One of my drakes is doing this, and only when I walk away. I find that my boys go through phases. One of my other drakes was in pursuit mode last summer. Then he'd stand at my feet, with a look of love in his eyes!
