Pekin duck eating eggs??

Is it possible that my pekin is eating her eggs??
They are alive and shes sitting on them.
I found one cracked, got rid of it.
This morning I went out and there were 6...we started with 8.
Last time we had more and they disappeared with out a trace.

Hmm... Pekins are bred to be table birds... I honestly don't know whether ducks eat developing eggs, but pretty much everything likes to eat eggs. Chickens & turkeys will eat them though I haven't experienced them eating eggs that they're incubating.
