Pekin duck had surgery on leg

Hi all, so I had surgery on my ducks leg because right at the hock it got swollen and red, so it was infected. Going on 2 weeks just had bandage removed yesterday, she still has stiches the vet gave me a stronger medicine to give her. No water for her shes a duck ducks like water and its still swollen any ideas what to do for the swelling
