Pekin Duck- Illness? Injury?

Jumbo Pekin 1 yr old female.

Started getting brown spots on bill abd what looked like scabs. Put iodine on it but there didn't seem to be any injury.

3 days ago developed scabs on head and back of neck but thought my drakes were just mating her too much so I separated her from the drakes. Washed and cleaned wounds with vetericyn and neosporin.

2 days ago eye was foamy and slight redness. Washed eyes with vetericyn pink eye spray. Gave injection of Tylan 50.

1 day ago still treating, right eye covered in foamy bubbles. Continued above treatment.

Today, both eyes have scabs around them, right eye filled with bubbles. Left eye starting to look red, beak covered in more scabs and pale sections.

Any ideas on what's going on?

The rest of my flock shows no signs of her condition. She's in quarantine.

I suspect she has a serious infection that the Tylan cannot touch. Can you get a vet's help? Or if not, I'd switch to something else - maybe Duramycin....

No vet but I've got Amoxicillin and tetracycline.

thanks for the suggestion. She's responding nicely to the Duramycin. I've also been putting poultry VetRx on her bill and the scabs are coming off and showing nice clean tissue underneath. She might have some scarring on her bill but it's healing really nicely and the infection around her eye is clearing up. She has a slight "cut" on her eyelid but it doesn't seem to be open and gross anymore and the bubbles are now gone from her eye. I'm going to continue treatment for another 5 days just to be on the safe side.

Would you be willing to write a little bit about the dosage and how you figured it out? Not trying to pin you down - - - but dosage questions often come up and if we can save someone time, way may be able to save a little life.

I honestly just kind of guessed at the amount. The Duramycin comes in a big 1lb bag, So I took the empty capsule of a 500mg amoxicillin capsule and I filled it with the powder. The dosage is 400mg dose = 1.25 tsp I gauged that the capsule held a little less than 1/4 of a teaspoon. Then I dumped that into a 5 cc syringe. The powder came up to the .4 cc mark. So from then on I just used that mark and used a little scoopy thing to drop the powder into the syringe and kept my finger over the end so the powder didn't come out. Once it hit the .4 cc mark I then carefully put the plunger end over the back and tipped the powder till it was unblocking the tip and then depressed the plunger slowly until it was at the end but not pushing the powder out. Then I sucked warm water into the rest of the syringe to fill it then shook it to mix. Once it dissolved I gave it to my duck twice a day. Based on rough calculations it seemed to be about 100-150mg of duramycin. I don't know if that would be too much. They say to mix 1.25 tsp with 1 gallon of water but there was no way to tell how much she would actually drink. Especially because ducks fling water everywhere. I wanted to make sure she got enough. Also once mixed it's only good for 24 hours and I didn't want to just toss out of bunch of antibiotic laden water. So I just did my own dosage.

Again though it's all guesswork because I don't have a mg scale that I could determine the real dosage.

Also just as an added, Jack Jack weighs about 15lbs. She's big so if this were for ducklings I'd cut that down to about .1 cc of powder and 4 cc of water.
