Hi all!
In mid-September, I purchased a pekin and a white-and-fawn runner from Tractor Supply. Fast forward to about a week ago, and my ducks were attacked by an escaped dog. My runner didn’t make it, but the pekin survived with a few bite wounds on his back. I’m treating him for a mild infection, but otherwise he is doing well.
Now that he’s alone, I’m concerned about his well-being and I don’t want him to be lonely. I don’t have tons of time to spend with him, so without a partner, I am concerned.
I’m not sure if this is an appropriate request, nor whether this is an appropriate place to ask, but would anyone be interested in taking him and adding to their flock?
I’m not looking for money or anything, rather I’m looking for a good home and a happy life, surrounded by other quackers.
I’m located in Alabama, though I’ll be heading to Pennsylvania in 2-3 weeks. I’m willing to travel a bit, should anyone in either region be interested.
It is also important that I mention, my Pekin has slipped tendons. He came to me this way, but he walks fairly well and doesn’t have much of an issue moving around.
Please let me know if you have any questions, I am happy to answer any that you may have.
Colin
