I was putting my Perkins to sleep when i noticed my smallest one, Ned(all three are named after the three Amigos: Dusty, Luck and Ned) had a lump right where his neck meets his chest, but to the side a little bit. Please help. Im wondering if it is maybe just some food that is stuck, but could it be some diesease that needs to be treated?

Are you maybe seeing the duck’s crop? Pictures mY help. Here is the duck forum where you can also post a thread:

Here’s is a comparison between Ned and either Dusty or Lucky(I can’t really tell them apart right now), and im also wondering why Ned’s feathers might also be darker. Both Ducks like to poop and sit in it, but for some reason Ned’s feathers are super dark. I’m very worried about him, so I really hope somebody can tell me what’s going on.

I made a new post on the duck forum but nobody has responded yet. When I get back home from school I’m going to check on Ned again. Then I’m going to do a big cleaning. Sweep some flakes out of the garage, deep clean the brooder box, give them a bath, etc.
