Pekin duckling

My new pekin duckling keeps panting... And im unsure why... She cant possibly be hot because where in the air conditioned room and ive been giving them plently of water with electrolyte. And she keeps pileing with the other 3 runner ducklings. Anyone know why?

And just to add, when I put them all away in their cage they start yelling very loud until I go over to them then they are quiet... Im also going to add a larger bowl for them to drink out of but not big enough for them to get hurt. I didnt have this issue with the males I had

Hmmm I'm not sure why they are panting but te reason they yell is because they miss you. Do you spend alot of time with you? They most likely hink that your mamma. Looks like they have imprinted on you!!! Enjoy your duckiess!

Yeah Im trying super hard to spend as much time as possible with them. They yelled at 6am and I had to get up and and walk to them and stay there until they fell asleep, then i snuck away to go back to sleep lol! And im hoping they stay loving me unlike my other one that now just runs away >.< and thanks!!
