We are new to hatching, but after building an incubator, with help from BYC, we have 4 ducklings now a week old and 3 pipping now, with 8 more to go. It's tricky( constant supervision) as they are a staggered hatch( we have one female and 2 males, so one egg a day), but so far no losses. We have an incubator ordered so that we can have more consistent humidity and temp control, and use the other bator as a hatcher or brooder. Big fun. They are already very tame. They love to bob for chopped up bits of spinach, kale and broccoli. They will live here as pets and for eggs. We like to call our little homestaed "Lucky Duck Ranch" We have a large natural spring pond and 2 1/2 acres, 60 hens, 3 roosters. We will incubate chicken eggs next.

Well done. Great results so far.
Good luck with the others still to hatch. Obviously you did a good job with your home made incubator.

Two more duckies are working their way out.. i had to chip a bit of the hard shells after they pipped, as I did with the others. Read all the advice on BYC.. what a huge help! Two others are rocking and peeping and just about through. We're lovin' this!:

Thanks for the nice welcomes. The two duckies hatched successfully today. 3 more due in the next few days. All looking and sounding good. I made a BYC page with photos. Love this site!
