Congratulations! And good job on your incubator! Staggered hatches scare me - I'm overly paranoid about humidity fluctuations.

I just started working on my own home-made incubator that I drew up the plans for and started collecting parts for nearly a year ago! I'll have to test it with some of my duck eggs at the end of March, when they start laying. It seems like an eternity until then!

8 ducklings now. The family is growing. The 4 oldest were fine accepting #5 and #6 but not #7 and #8. They are bunking with 4 and 5. I'd like to name them, but they are hard to tell apart. First 4 had 2 baths today in the bathtub. They loved it.. diving under water and swimming.

awe so very cute. i love love love love pekin ducklings. i really wanted pekin ducks really bad, but i rescued some muscovies. i had a hard time finding pekins. after i rescued my babies, i found pekins. i was so mad lol. i almost snuck over to the feed store and bought a pekin lol my mom would have killed me. i was joking about it and she was like when i leave for work i am going to make sure you don't have money lol. she told me to ask if i could trade, but honestly i wouldn't trade my duckies for the world. i love my mussies and their personalities. pekins are kust soooooooooo adorable though!
