Pekin Ducklings Or Something Else?

Ok so my "Pekin" ducklings are starting to get their adolesent feathers and they are comeing in light brown and dark brown. I was wondering if this is just their adolescent feathers or if i may have a differnt breed. I also have a little black duckling and the guy i bought him from said he was going to be a male mallard, and i was wondering if mallards can be pure black. His his down/feathers have started to turn greyish/black. i wanted to thank every1 in advance.

When I was a kid, I had a pekin and a mallard - their babies were black! Maybe you have a crossbred?

Mallard duckling should be yellow with brownish black striping. Pekin ducklings should be pure yellow. As far as I know, there are no colors other than white for Pekin or green head/brown-grey back (male) and brown (female) for Mallards.
