I have 8 - 11week old Pekins. I've noticed that when they are in their pen usually sometimes 5 are grouped together, the one in the center is usually to the right as there are three on the right, one is hidden. They usually separate like this but more closer not scattered like the pic.

Does this mean the 4 or 5 might be females and the 2 or 3 out are males or vice versa or does it not mean anything?

They are too young to sex, and they seem to get along, but they are still young. 4 are a week younger as I got them separate times at TSC, 4 each time.

Thanks

It doesn't really mean anything. Some individual birds just seem to hang out more than others. I've had a few birds that have been more on the loner side.
