Okay everyone I need some help! I will try to get a photo on here later today, but I have two pekin ducks that are probably 5-6 weeks old. I have read that sometimes it can take up to 10 weeks to be able to sex them by sound and that their plumage will be different (drake feather). Like I said though mine aren't all the way feathered out yet but I think I can see drake feathers on both of them. Can they grow these that early?

My 9 wk old pekins are showing strong signs ...

3 males , huge, raspy, heavy, large legs and feet.

2 females, smaller, light on their feet, smaller legs and feet, loud QUACK when they want to.

Okay, I was just worried because they have a distinct curled tail feather but haven't completely feathered in yet! Thank you!

Okay it is kind of hard to tell but if you look you can see how one feather on each of them sits up and away from the others, and they do have a slight curl to them.
