Pekin first eggs !! incubate or natuaral

my lavender pekins laid their first eggs !!!

but I live in South Africa so it's winter here. It gets VERY cold here maybe _- 10 in the nights and 6 in the day. so i'm not comfy with them. should I let them do it all and just put a heat bulb in their nest - cage which they sleep at night or incubate the eggs and I do all the stuff when they hatch ?? please help

Congrats!

When it was cold for my broody hen, I put a heat light over her and she did fine. However, it was cold both night and day and so I brought her in for a month or so after the chicks hatched.

As for setting the eggs, its suggested not to set pullet eggs because they are too small and don't hatch well. I would wait a few weeks before setting the eggs. They are great for eating though!

Oh but one day someone showed me an pekin egg and these are the right size defently not to small

Setting the eggs means putting them under a setting hen, or a broody hen.

My bad if that isn't what you meant.

Yeah but the thing is this is their first eggs so i dont know who is the broodie hen yet :/
