Hi everyone, I'm new and I have a question.

I have 9 pekins, 1 drake and 4 hens are Grimaud hybrids, the other 4 are just normal pekins.

My regulars are 7 months old and all 4 have been laying for a month or so now. The grimauds are only 4 months and dont lay yet.

Today I found a HUGE duck egg. Like, double the normal size of a duck egg. Is this normal? Is it dangerous?

The ducks are given fermented barley and oats, and layer crumble with some bonus calcium and niacin thrown in there. They also eat whatever I eat, table scraps and occasional junk food (one stole a popsicle the other day and ran off with it haha)

Thank you for your time

(Left is chicken, middle is normal duck egg, right is the mega egg)
