Pekin missing. Laying eggs???????

I had a pair of pekins and i can only tell them apart when they are next to each other, and now there is one, about 2 hours ago there was 2 and now one. I dont know if maybe she wondered off to lay eggs or something got her??? They never have left each other side, so i am really nervous? anyone have any ideas, and i would be looking for her but its black out and i dont have no batteries for my stupid mag lite

i have looked everywhere and cannot find her, i really dont think anything got her tho because there is no do tracks ne where around my little pond, which is inside my fence line so no really anything but cows in here. idk she might be hiding laying some eggs and the male is in the pond just waiting for her. i hope ne ways that i see her here in the next what 30 days when they hatch???
