Hello,
My Male Pekin is about 2.5 months old and all of a suddenly he stopped quacking. He seems happy and is eating/drinking but can barely get a faint quack out.Any suggestions before bringing him to vet because I would like to avoid vet if I can. THX

Raspy but very very faint almost like a human when they loose their voice.

Just sounds to me like he's gotten his adult voice (males are raspy, females are the ones that actually quack) and has lost his baby voice. This is about the age when the males will get their adult voice, so it sounds normal to me.

If possible, could you post a video of him "talking" so we can confirm for sure it is a normal adult male voice?

I tried to upload video directly but it wouldn't work so I posted to youtube then added here..

Yep, that's just a normal drake voice your Pekin has there. No worries! He's grown up. :)
