Pekin or indian runner duckling

his head is more like a runner than a pekin as the beak is flush with the top of it the head so it gives a very straight effect

I know this is a little late lol but I have the same issue here! I bought 2 ducklings yesterday from tsc and one of them kind of looks like she could be a runner..... She's either a pekin (which is what I wanted:/) or as I said before. I'm not an expert on this so some advice would be appreciated! (Sorry for intruding on your thread thataussielady:/

Aw she's cute.

I can't really tell what she is... Yellow with darker masking on her face indicates that her coloring might be fawn and white (a coloring associated with runners). But she doesn't look like a runner to me, she doesn't stand upright enough and the arch from forehead to bill doesn't look like a runner's (at least not yet). I don't think Pekins come in fawn and white, so I don't have a guess for what other breed she could be. Maybe someone else will know. Time will tell

I bought four from the same place in a California location, two were pure Pekin the ones with the lighter bills. and the other two with a hint of gray bills grew with a shade of beige feathers, but don't stand tall as a pure Runner. My guess they are Runner Pekin cross, with Runners personality.
