Morning,
I have a question I have a 2 pekins in a pen next to my chickens. My chickens free range all day in the fields and my ducks are in their pen area. My question is do you think its ok to now let my ducks out to free range? The ducks are taller than the chickens now and all have been able to see eachother through the fencing. I just do not want the ducks to be picked on by the chickens. They seem to be ok together through the fence though. I just hate to keep the ducks in their pen area all day when my goal was to have them free range like the chickens. Thank you in advance.

It should be fine! I range my pekins with my turkeys all day!
Pekins are pritty mellow, as far as I've seen. They won't fight with the chickens if properly introduced.

Do you know the sex of your two pekins? If theyre both girls they'll likely get on fine. If you have boys I'd be careful, as male ducks can kill a chicken if it tries to mate since they dont have the same anatomy
