How tall on average is an adult pekin? I can find plenty of info on weight but not height Ya think a 24 inch tall pen is ok for nighttime and when we aren't home? I have a choice between that or 42 inch. Big price diff of course.

You would be better with the bigger size, to give them more head and breathing room. The smaller size will be a squeeze
