Yes that is what I use white vinegar it's a great safe cleaner

I use a long scrub brush and water from the hose. They poop so much you clean it constantly anyways...

Livestock first pets later. Ducks are extremely tough and don't get sick to often..

Not trying to start any trouble, but a duck can definitely drown. Especially if it gets stuck in the water when it's molting..and it's feathers aren't "normal." More often, you find them soaking wet and shaking..guess youve never had either happen which is why it is so laughable to you.. a male can also drown a female while mating in the water....yeah. ducks can drown.

It’s only a small 4 foot kiddie pool ( I think?) but it is deep ...

I just scoop it out with a bucket then dump the bottom bit , can I clean it with vinegar like I use for all the chickens water ?

The pekins are big and heavy , I put the four bricks back in , a ramp would take up too much room .

They are little stinkers just seeing how much I’ll help them look at this , hubby slammed a door and they all turned their heads to listen View attachment 1526828

I clean mine with a little vinegar.

They like to stand on them it seems ,with them in there at least I don’t have to worry ( even if I shouldn’t)

My girls will stand on the one in the water dish with one leg tucked up under them.
