I got a 2 week old pekin 3 days ago. I've been holding her a lot and spending lots of time with her as well as feeding her from my hand. She lets me carry her and pet her anywhere, she also chirps and cries when I leave the room she's in. I think she's attached and trusts me but she won't follow me. Any help?

First off, don't encourage that level of imprinting, it's cute now but it'll be a problem when it's full grown like when you leave for longer times, it'll panic.
Can it walk and see ok?

Hmm... at 2 weeks old it should still be under a heat source. Are you trying to make this a house pet?

yes i am, i have her in a brooder with a light source and let her outside for about 1-2 hours under my supervision.

Does she have a friend (other than you)? Ducks need ducks.

yeah she can see just fine and walking shes fine too, and i can see why it'd be a problem but i also don't want her running off

They don't really run off haha
Pekins can't fly and ducks are creatures of habit. She will learn where home and food are and won't go far from that spot.

it's my first time taking care of a duck, thanks for the help

no she doesn't sometimes i'll take her to my cousins to be with the other 6 ducks
So... I dont know how to put this exactly, but it seems like you're trying to raise this duck expecting it to behave like a dog. It's a duck. Not a dog. It needs a a duck buddy and a duck home and duck food. It won't be happy or healthy long term without being cared for with respect to the fact that it is a duck.
