Pekin x Rouen cross

Here's my F-1 Pekin x Rouen cross. His dad was a gigantic jumbo pekin drake from Metzer Farms and his mama is an Exhibition Rouen hen from show winning lines. He is a.gigantic 12# bird' will breed him to a jumbo peking hen and 2 exhibition rouen hens to get my F-2 ducklings next year.

You can just barely notice he has 1 white tipped primary feather on each side. Otherwise he looks 100% like he is full rouen.

Here's an odd one, his daddy is the 1/2 giant exhibition rouen 1/2 jumbo pekin drake in the photo above, and his mama is one of the 1/2 flying mallard/ 1/2 spotted call duck hens in the photo above. A 12# drake and a 2# hen, how it happened I don't know. It is a giant! A few weeks old, not sure of the sex yet. Was colored like a giant appleyard as a just hatched duckling, but starting to turn darker now, bill is kind of a pinkish color.. Looking forward to how it feathers out and if it's a hen or drake.

Here's my rouen pekin spotted call duck cross. His primary feasthers havn't finished growing in yet, can't wait to see his adult plummage.
