Since about Tuesday my tiny Peking bantam started limping then next day couldn't walk, seems to be her left leg is worse, when holding her she moves right leg like she is trying to run, her feet won't hold onto perch. She can still flap wings, sometimes eating, will drink water when offered. Has recently recovered from an eye infection caused by what I thought was an injury. We recently got a large muscovy duck and I think it may have stepped on her? How long do I nurse her before deciding she has suffered enough?
TIA

Have you checked under her feet for any issues?
Yes seems OK, no mites, supple, dosent cause distress touching them, I did notice tonight when I held here so she could drink, that there seem to be a clicking sensation under her body at times?

She sounds injured. Can you place her in a dog crate with her own food and water while she recovers. First check her all over for any puffiness like a balloon under her skin around her neck chest and sides. A leaking air sac can sometimes cause clicking when breathing. Also look at her foot pads for any scabs, look for swelling or bruising on the hurt leg. Make sure that she is drinking water and offer her chopped egg and wet some of her feed in a small bowl, if she is not eating for you. I hope she recovers. Sprains and leg injuries can take several weeks to heal. Hopefully, it isn't something more serious, such as Mareks disease. Add some chicken vitamins to her water.

Wondering if the duck did step on her, where under her body do you hear the clicking sound; chest, abdomen or rear leg area? Hopefully IF the duck did step on her, it didn't cause a break/dislocation of the left side....Can you take her to a Vet? How's her poop? She eating? Drinking? Give her some Nutri Drench, if she's not very interested in eating mix her crumbles with plain yogurt. Can you post a pic of her "standing"
