Peking duck behavior

So I brought Geraldine home at 7wks in May 2and and had been terrified of me since...then this past weekend when I’m tending to their water she comes up lays down and loves for me to pet her....she is our first Peking we only have runner ducks...so is this normal?

Yes I do...but as their mother I see them playing leap frog

Just pet Geraldine and enjoy this new friendship she is wanting. They are such sweet things. Even when they are floozies
