Maybe you should consider another Penkin female I have 2 Buff Orp females with my 5 Runners and although they were hatched and raised with the Runners and run with them all the time they are very close to each other too.

Since my runners are laying...should get those fake eggs for them to lay on...

Up to you I don't use fake eggs unless I am wanting to encourage laying in their house preferably to outside somewhere. I just take all eggs up daily.
