Sullivan, Oh
Hello All!!

Well our eggs continue to come. :D This morning we found 4 eggs in their house this morning!! So my question is how do we know if the eggs were fertilized (we have seen the ducks mating). Should we put them in an incubator and see if they hatch?

Sorry if these questions seem silly, but we are very new sand don't want to the wrong thing.

Thanks in advance for any information.

Steph

If they are mating, most likely the eggs are fertile. Do a forum search on 'fertile egg bullseye' - that should bring up some pictures showing the 'bullseye' appearance of fertile eggs. If it were me, I would wait until spring to hatch some ducklings. Winter chicks and ducklings are too much work for this old man.
