Peking duck feathers

Ok my nieces have a pekin duck and in the time in the sawdust tote it's now New feathers/light down feathers have gotten yellow tint to them . Is there a way to whiten the feathers without plucking them to close to fair time and to much and it seems cruel

You could try to give it a bath with dawn soap. If that doesn't work use white chalk. Just scrape on a brick or something and rub it on the duck. Show secret for white critters not raised on wire.

Plucking? Oh no! Please do not pluck your birds! All of the older Pekins I had, each had a yellowish tint. So if the color is important, like for a show, try as bugflipper suggested.
