Pekins?????

I was just at Tractor Supply and saw Pekin ducklings!!!! Need opinions, Are they Pekins??? I remember somebody got what they thought were Pekins from TSC and they were White Runners, I don't want White Runners, I want to make sure they are Pekins!!!! ( The pic isn't the greatest but hoping it's good enough to know what breed they really are )

Is there a red lamp on them? Are their bills and feet more pink or more orange?

I think there is a red lamp on them. Not sure about their feet but I think the bills were more pink.

Are they in a mixed bin (ducklings of all colors & sizes) or are they on their own? If the latter, they're probably Pekins. Especially if they don't stand upright, and if their bills are more orange-looking in person. But hard to tell for sure from a photograph!

If the bills are more pink then they are probably white layers.

They were in a bin all by themselves. I don't mean to sound stupid but what do u mean white layers or hybrid white layers???? Is that what your calling Pekins????

Also, they were not standing upright.

Pekins and HWL are separate breeds the white layers have pinkish bills Pekins orange. White layers will not get as large as a Pekin and were developed to lay a lot of eggs. Same as Pekins.
