Do you guys just let your pekins clean themselves or do you sometime help them out, i wanna keep there feathers pretty and white but i dont know if that’s possible or what it requires

She looks clean and happy! I don't have Pekins, but my WH clean themselves.

I let mine do their thing. They are almost always white and beautiful! Sometimes they get into some mud but as soon as they get in the pool they’re back to being perfectly white! I change their pool water everyday, I think that helps.

I would encourage you not to help them unless there is some type of medical or emergency reason.

Chunky boy on the left is about 8 months old and Big momma on the right is 3 years old and I have never once helped them get clean and look how pretty and white they are! And see what I mean about the mud

My Pekins get the pool at least three times a week if not all the time. They love it but it can be messy. We also have a pond in our gully that they enjoy swimming in

My pekins stay white and pretty - they get dirty sometimes but once they hop in the pond, they quickly make themselves beautiful again! I agree, other than providing fresh water to swim in, they don't need help.
