With my mallards, it is clear now that they are boys. However, I am having some issues sexing my Pekins. They are old enough that one of them is laying, but I'm only getting one egg a day which makes me think only one of the Pekins is female and laying. I am concerned that the other is a male which would leave my poor lady with 3 males. How do I tell? I see the drake feathers on my mallards, not to mention the beautiful green heads and white collars. What should I look for with my Pekins? They don't look alike, one has a darker (more orange) beak and feet and one has a tuft of feathers on the back of the head.
