pelets or crumbles

Am planing to use Layena what do most of you use pelets or crumbles

The crumbles are messy when some of the chickens like to throw it out. I use crumbles just for the reason I have a chicken with a crooked beak. Otherwise I think pellets would be less of a mess.

I switched to pellets a while back - so far, less mess and its lasting longer! I think crumbles are good for young pullets and growing chicks but all of mine are older now.

Scratch that - I have BCM eggs for a broody due here tomorrow!

your chickens will waste about 50% more with crumbles. Stick to pellets...
