pellets by accident

Just yesterday I decided to switch to pellets and it didn't phase my girls at all! They LOVE it. BTW....I bought an old porcelain bed pan and you are right. They don't spill a single bit!

That's so weird I did the exact same thing.
I stopped Friday to get feed, never gave it a second thought when I got home and opened the bag......Pellets

They looked at me like are you serious? what's this? They hardly touched it. Now I have to go back to the feed store
To get crumbles to mix in with it.

If you mix in crumbles they will pick the crumbles out and waste the rest. They will eat, just give it time!!

The crumbles are just busted up pellets. If you're really think that they need the crumbles on top, just chop some pellets in a blender and sprinkle it over the rest of the pellets. Same thing...

Or boil some water, pour it into a bucket of pellets and let it sit for 15 mins. Feed them the mash instead.

Seriously though, by changing it out you're creating fussy chickens.
