Thanks! I’m going to see if I can find a smaller pellet!I used crumbles for a few years and thought pellets were strange, but after trying pellets I now prefer them. They are less easily displaced as the hens eat because of their greater weight, and they tend to have less waste in the form of feed “dust” that the hens can’t pick up. Also, the chickens get more nutritional value for each bit of energy expended pecking, again due to the size of a pellet vs a bit of crumble. That’s just what I have noticed so that’s why I prefer one over the other.
