Pencilling and spangling?

I am unsure of what exactly these terms mean. And what they look like. I have a partridge cochin hen, is that marking pencilling? What is spangling? DO you have some pics to show me? And genetically how does the pencilling transfer? Is it a dominant trait and which crosses will show it or not?

In spangled birds, there should be a black "dot" on the end of each feather. In pencilled birds, the birds should have a "lacing" all the way up and down the feathers. Looks kind of like multiple lacing on a single feather to me.
