I got these birds as baby chicks from the feed store. They were labeled as penedesenca. I thought, "Well that's cool! An unusual historical type breed," so I got them. They're 9 weeks old now, and they don't look anything like any pictures I can find of penedesenca though. Is that what these actually are? They're definitely more "wild" than the other chickens I've gotten. They fight like crazy when I hold them.

Look like Guinea to me. They are loud...very loud apparently, so if you have neighbors or are concerned with the noise, you may need to consider re-homing. If you can keep them, They are apparently good at pest control.

Yeah, Google is pretty much telling me that they're going to have to get sold. They're loud, don't get along with the chickens, fly into the trees, and don't really lay many eggs. We'll see how it goes.
