Can’t figure out what’s wrong with my girl. I can’t feel an egg, but she is acting egg-bound. 7 month old barred rock. Acting lethargic and sleepy during the day, not much energy, not hanging out with the other girls just by herself standing or sitting. I’ve given her an epsom salt bath which she seemed to like, she didn’t quite relax but she didn’t fight to get out. She is not really eating, ate a little bit of egg yesterday. I have seen her drink numerous times, always a lot of sips at once. Not sure what I can do to help her?
After the bath, she had a wet poop and I can see a few wet poops from last night in the coop.

How does her chest feel—like air under the skin or a full crop? Is her crop full and very squishy this am? It looks quite large and hanging down as a pendulous crop. What do her poops look like? What does she eat? Is she getting a lot of treats, scratch, or table scraps? Does she have grit available? I would add some electrolytes and vitamins to her water. I might start some treatment for a crop disorder if you think that might be the problem. Here is some reading about crop problems:

Her poops are very wet and light colored. Her crop does feel and look very full, but not sure if it would be considered pendulous crop. They had been getting lots of scraps from my garden lately, maybe that is the issue. I put some vitamins and electrolytes in her water. I also have a scrambled egg with some herbs out for her but she is not eating it. Right now I have her in our "cage" which is essentially just our smaller enclosed run where she can see and talk to everyone else. Based on the reading not sure if it would be considered impacted crop or pendulous crop.
