I am just curious, it appears as though you live in the country as you mentioned a pasture and cows. How does the landlord know the new neighbors will object to a few chickens and turkeys running around? If they are moving to the country they might expect and who knows ENJOY such a thing. Maybe ask the new neighbors if the care, then your problem is solved.
