Pennsylvania Chickenstock?

I know we have alot of southern PA members and northern MD members. Lake Tobias sounds like a great idea. Just need info on date, directions, what to bring, etc.

Hi - Here is the link to Lake Tobais - In Halifax PA

The Tail Gate information - Invites others to join for $ 10.00... this is not a poultry gathering though some individuals may have chickens... Pheasants, quail, waterfowl - Aviculture and Conservation

It is a good group to support. I can't imagine they would mind if a few folks with chickens joined in ... I will make a call to find out.

This year I only have an extra Sumatra Rooster to swap... but I am going to learn more about raising pheasants and possibly pick up call ducks and a pea hen...

I don't think we have enough people in our area. Everytime NEPA is brought up, it gets pushed aside

I can organize but I have no idea where it would take place

That's me, maybe we could car or truck pull. LOL I know, counting chick4chicks, one other person and we could split the cost of gas. But let me know if its a Saturday, I work Saturdays. Sundays would be good.

I am so sorry I'm several years late to this thread! I live right on the pa Md line in York county and have been scouring for a swap/stock/meet I can get to. Apparently there is a York county poultry fanciers association. That's meeting on Monday january the 14th at 7 at the denny's on 30. They also have a event thingy in April each year. I just started with chickens but hope to check it out. Any of y'all still on here?
I'm guessing this thread died out. Kinda hope to revive it since many of y'all are from my area (se and sc pa)
