I am looking for a home for this really nice silkie rooster.

He is about 10 weeks old. Definitely a rooster... My friend backed out on me, and I can't keep him. Anybody know anybody.... I hate to put him on craigslist or take him to auction. I don't know much about show quality, but he is very gentle and used to being held every night. He might make a good 4H bird?? I did trim his feathers around his eyes (just a little) so he would have a complete fluffball on his head.






I also have several geese eggs that did not develop. Would anybody be interested in using them for decoration? They are between 140 - 200 grams. So they are not huge, but they have a nice shape.

Is he still available? I am currently rooster-less.I have 2 wyandotte and 6 mixed bantam girls for him to live with.

Someone on this thread said they wanted to get a Swedish Flower Hen pullet. I don't remember who. I have 17 in incubation and 5 chicks. Depending on hatch rate (which isn't good on shipped SFH eggs) and how many of each sex I get, I may have a couple extra in a couple months.

Just got a message that my speckled sussex chicks will be ready to pick up and my other chicks will be in on monday!! yay!!!!
Between the chicks, and the orphaned premie ram lamb i have in the dog crate in the house, people are begining to question my sanity. lol I am too. especially when i was sitting on the floor feeding the bottle lamb and he peed on me.. :/ Oh well. Wouldn't change it for the world. lol Just need more coffee!
