(not to mention all the laundry i have to do) lol Taking off from work early, going to pick up the little and head north!

I'm at work and my wife texted me that our 4 ducks are gone. No feathers, no blood. We have 2 ponds nearby...anyone think they would waddle their way to a nearby pond??? I'm perplexed. My wife said she looked everywhere. Do people steal ducks?

I've had some just not come back....but usually that's ones or twos. But I've also had them wander back at bedtime. And yes, people are idjits.

Say hi to her for me...she has such awesome birds!

So the little roo that everyone has been reporting showed up in the yard today...we'll see if he's still around at bedtime. If so, he goes into quarantine. He's beautiful!

ugggg..... wondering....

I got a notice that occasionally State Farm Insurance comes to inspect property's for homeowners, they will be here anytime in the next 90 days.

How will my coops and chicken play in this "visit" suggestions anyone run into this?

Tell her to take treats with her & go check the ponds. Most likely they will reappear at bedtime. And yes, there are morons out there who will steal ducks.

Our's disappeared a few times. They'd come back for bed though. It's likely that they're just out for a dip.

As long as your coops meet your local regs (if there are any) then you should be fine. Since you already have your NPIP (Sally) then there really isn't much they can say there either.

I dont know exactly.. but I know ours listed the dog pens as another building... -sigh- and we now have the duck pen and will have another pen this summer.. if all goes well and the neighbors calm their ***'s.

Today I got some more footage of the neighbor doing some "stuff" and if he reports my ducks.... well...I now have more proof to go along with the crap he is pulling. >.>
