The Coatesville Duo has descended upon theGreen Dragon! Girls nightout!!!
I really wish you would all announce this ahead of time when you are going to do this, green dragon is quite a haul for me, but I would make the trip if I knew a bunch of you were going to be there..

What you looking at?

New turkey
Can anyone tell what breed he is?
A very gorgeous one,,,,I would hold off on the fry pot and give him a chance
My chicks at 8 weeks old now from Pittsburgh, PA.
They are so friendly and affectionate.
There are a few loners in the mix of 25, but still come when I call.

It's so fun to watch other people's birds grow up and know I am not cleaning or feeding them
Quote: It's all good....she is 27 and around guns her whole life, she has rifles already..
Quote: she is ecstatic, this is something she wanted to do before it got ant harder to get them.....The salesman was getting a little antsy, it took her 2 hours to pick one out,,,,she said this one just felt right..

I have young EE,,,new year's hatch..
Quote: I have to ask if our young enabler is going to the summer picnic and swap,,,,really hoping for a couple of those buckeye culls.

And with everyone posting chicks I am getting a little jealous, so I am going to Eli today and picking up 8 ducks,,,,,I do not need chicks so I had to compromise

Good morning from Slippery Rock! A little surgery planned today on those two mystery lumps on one of my girls, convincing the dear hubby that, YES, he will be changing the Cornish X bedding today and on the hunt for a goat/calf hut. Plus my soil arrived at the hardware store. Happy Saturday!
Good morning from a bit East of you.... sounds like a busy Saturday for sure!
Cleaning a Cornish X pen is on the agenda here also

You should keep a camera handy during your surgery in case you find something strange you'd like to share or need to ask questions about. Experiences you can document can often help others facing similar strange situations. Even if you don't post it now you will have it as reference later if someone asks about a similar situation.
Good luck on the exploratory surgery... hope you solve the mystery and your bird does well.

Such a beautiful weekend can't wait to get out and do some work outside! Hope everyone else has a great weekend!!! Time to get the 19 month old n 4 yr old into gear if we want to get anything acomplished ;)

I have duckies available...and about 70 more eggs...if you "need" more.

Calls, runners & pekins.

So... How many eggs can a favarolle hen sit on comfortably?
Stuff them under until they start popping back out. Remove any that pop out & then take 2 more back. That's how I do it.

Quote: this is why I am taking the car instead of the truck,,,,truck has to much space,,,,and hey, if it fits it ships.
You would be astounded at how many birds I can fit into my car.
