why is it you decied you want to get rid of an animal and people feel the need to jump all over your ***.. I DONT WANT THIS DOG ANY MORE!!! Can't even find him a goo dhome because poeplel jump all over my ****.. why is that so terrible, i tried it and I didnt like it.. END OF STORY!!!! FINE I WILL KEEP HIM AND HE CAN STAY IN HIS CAGE ALL DAY AND NIGHT!!!

I went through the same thing when I tried to rehome my Mini Schnauzer. I had him for almost 4yrs and I got him at 8mons old. The people who had him would put him and an American Bulldog in an 8 sided play kennel all day and not clean the pen for days or weeks. I got him with hair burnt off his back and paws raw from standing in pee and poo. I tried to house train him for 7 months and I finally gave up and tied him out. I was turned into the state police because he got off his chain and left the property for the first time in over a year (when I have 14 different neighbor dogs that come and terrorize my birds). I was not losing my birds or cats over a dog I never liked to begin with. When I put him up for free, I got all kinds of crap for it. I feel for you... I know you are mad and you don't really mean you are going to keep him in his cage 24/7 either. You're mad, but to nice to do such a thing.

Good luck rehoming him.

My ducks leg is broke... and I was told its a 500-700 dollar bill and if the doc can't do it at this facility I would have to go to PA University in Philly..... I can't afford this! I am HEART BROKEN! I tried everything to get money and I can't so its going to have to heal weird and she will have a perm limp :'( I then recieved a FB message that my 3 calls MAY have been in the neighbors yard... I wasn't able to find them for a few days... and they showed up tonight when I was at the vet in the yard for no reason. I am going to break down.. if sobbing at the vet wasn't enough! Aghh!

I'm sorry! I know how hard that is. I think one of my roos got taken by a hawk today. I know I sound unsure...but until I can get them all in the coop tonight...and do a true headcount, I'm unsure. I thought it was one of my leghorns...cause there's alot of tail feathers...but I see both of them (one now tailless)

That's sad :/ At least she had a loving home!

Thanks everyone. Least she had a good life, albeit a short one. I'm still trying to figure out how my son didn't see her, but I'm glad he didn't.

She may just be debating on the broody thing... or maybe she just doesn't want you to move her off of her comfy couch so is getting all poofy and growly so you leave her there!

ok, sooo update!! Out of the 24 eggs I had in the incubator for my first time hatch ever, 23 hatched!!!

That's awesome, Congrats!!!

Started the day off at a viewing....and it all went downhill from there. A good stiff drink would be appropriate, but I may just take a long walk with a big fluffy white dog instead.

Never a good way to spend any part of the day. Hopefully today will be better.

I had that too when I was looking for a new home for my beagle (ended up keeping her, once I moved the other dogs around so she could go outside). "How can you just give her away?" "How can you be so cold?" blah blah blah. People love to jump all over someone when they don't know what's going on. This dog was getting on my counters and broke hand made glasses I inherited from my gram, couldn't be housebroken (would be outside for hours then come in a mess), is wound tighter than a Swiss watch, etc. I put up with it for nearly two years, then decided to see if I could find her a home. Finally, after getting nothing but negative comments and responses, I said the ____ with it and moved her outside. Hopefully you can find a loving home, or an alternative.

I just saw some when I ran to the gas station a lil bit ago, if they'd been on my property they'd 've been shot.

Ok think I got all caught up, and sorry if I missed anyone with condolences about Blaine.
Well my day didn't get much better. Had another migraine knock me out of commission for a few hours, then had a flat when I went to take Gavin to his baseball game, and got stuck behind EVERY ____ slowpoke between here and Benton on the way to the game.
The only good things were Gavin got a good hit and my new hair color is right about where I want it. I swear they change the mix just to mess with people, I had to buy a color I don't normally get to end up with something similar to what I had for years...

No I wont, he is way to cute! But I have to bath him once a week, cuz dogs smell apparently, and maybe more if he rolls in something outside that smells like death. I clean his ears, teeth, he has amazing chew toys so I take very good care of him! I tought him to sit, he is house/crate trained, he comes when I call...Just because I got rid of 2 cats in the past, 1 because she was not the cat for us, and 2nd My beautiful Siamese, he kept getting out when i move here and got hit by a car, sorry i didn't wait for him to do it again and then need a shovel to remove him from the street, and yes mt BF at the time was allergic and that was another part of it... sigh.. and I shouldn't have to explain myself!

If I ever get another dog (or cat) they will be just weaned & still young enough to properly train. I refuse to take on someone else's training screw-ups any more, or anyone's abused unwanted pets that are terrified of people.

That reminds me...I really need to color my hair...the gray is coming in at my temples, just like my mother....I'm gonna look like Morticia Adams pretty soon....and of course, my house is old and has no natural light...so I don't see it till I go out somewhere...and then I look at DH and ask why he doesn't tell me these things....and he tells me he loves me no matter what....blech.
