7 week old EE. Is this really Roxy or should it be Rocky? :-)

That is a cockerel. The dark feathers on the neck, and I think I can see pointy hackle feathers coming in, and that comb is way to red. If you could get a pick of the legs and back, we could probably tell you for sure. 8 weeks is usually when you can make a 90% accuracy rate. I think this one is a slam dunk.

I have learned enough about you to know I may end up soaking wet.
Don't feel dumb. We all had the same questions you do now. Some of us have been doing this for a year or so, and still are not sure if we are doing things "right".
If nothing else, PM someone. That way only one person knows your question.

Hey Pennsylvania,
I just put an offer down on a house in Shrewsbury, I think it's in Shrewsbury Township, it might be in East Hopewell too. I can't find anywhere that says about the chicken laws. My property has an acre of land, and I think it's considered agricultural residential. Anyone know the laws off the top of their head? I have 10 girls I don't want to loose :(

Thanks!

...does your area have a web site? when I was in Lancaster Co, (East Pete)..I got my info from there (web), then backed it up with a phone call to the township building to answer my questions.
