Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

Everyone is penned separate by breed. I have a pen of pekins & toulouse (easy to tell apart in eggs & birds), a pen of runners & scovies (also obvious difference in eggs & birds), a pen of calls, pen of turkeys, 6 pens of quail, a pen of LF layers, a pen of bantam EE, a pair of showgirls, a waterfowl grow out pen, a huge brooder with lamp outside, a huge brooder inside, 1 lone free range roo, a pen of young roos for sale & as many smaller brooders or cages with lamps as necessary (had 9 brooders at 1 point in time). I'm building 3 more duck pens (hopefully this week) to separate anconas & rouens that are growing out & give the scovies & runners their own pens. Geese share with ducks for now until I can build more pens. The guineas will free range (maybe) when they grow out.

Oh, forgot the pen of meaties waiting to be butchered. They will relinquish their pen to the banties & the banties will give their tractor to the showgirls within the next 2 weeks. That will give me another free pen outside to move the last of the quail in the basement to.

WOW...that's sounds crazy. I would love to see some pictures of your setups if possible. I need ideas for myself.

Actually rec is having more of a display, not a swap. Not really sure what it is. I'm trying to convince them to let us host as swap at dome time, but they are kind of skittish since they got fined during chick days for not wearing gloves not having sanitizer, etc. The manager asked me if I'd bring some chickens, more of an informational thing for now.

I got my testing paperwork! So, I will definitely have many birds for sale!

I have many black split chocolate and chocolate LF project chicks, chocolate bantam Orps, MF bantam Cochins, red bantam Cochins, F1 Olive Eggers, BBS US type bantam Orps, blue/black/lav & a bluexlav bantam Ameraucanas and many ducklings. I know there are more out there... I want to thin the black bantam Cochins, but they aren't old enough quite yet.

I may stop by if the weather is not to crappy,,,I have white bresse hatching as I type, wonder if anyone would be interested in any of them
So cute and evil at the same time.
either one works for me,,, may have EE chicks to bring,,due to hatch on the14th
and yet still gets beat up by goats on a regular basis

Ahem...today's score: Blarney - 3 Goats - nada. :D

yes, the rain does help. And if anyone is wondering why it's raining, it's because I wanted to go to the Green Dragon tonight. It rains EVERY time I go.

I'm in Oley, Pa. Just got our first chicks a few weeks ago. I grew up on a farm and we had a bunch of chickens but I'm having to learn a lot again.
Mamasky, Welcome! Were practically neighbors! I'm in Earl township... I was just at Oley Valley Feed ,stocking up on supplies and looking at their chicks yesterday. They expanded recently.
