LOL, I can't say much about foul language, there have been times I could've made a sailor blush. But I know what you mean, it's one thing if you're angry or in pain from an injury (this is usually when my "colorful" vocabulary comes out), it's another if you're just shooting the breeze and using it every few words.
It drives me nuts when people use it around kids, I know they'll learn foul language eventually, but some use it at an age when I don't remember having heard it.
My son's bio-material donor had a nephew who was calling EVERYONE an a-hole at two years old. I tapped his face very lightly and told him "My name is Katy, that is the only name you are allowed to call me." For a LONG time I was the only person he didn't call a-hole, he even called his mother that. The whole family used every curse word known around him, made me cringe every time even before I was pregnant, and it drove me nuts.
I won't even begin describing their lack of common sense, I guess mine was kinda lacking at the time since I was with the dip-stick for so long.
 
22 birds went to freezer camp today,,,at 9 weeks 3 days they weighed out between 8 and 8.75 pounds ...not bad for a days work ...let you know how the blood shed went after I stop bleeding......WWHHooops,,,lost my common sense for a few second and lost some skin. (and yes could have made a sailor blush)

OK, I go out of town for less than 48 hours for a swap meet & return to over 200 posts. I skipped most of them so please tell me if I missed anything important. We are planning to head to the Fayette County Swap tomorrow if all goes well so no time to go back through all of those posts to see what I missed.

Wow tha's alot of birds to process in 1 day. I had a good day. Went to a Eagle scout ceremony, came home and helped hubby muck out the chicken run. Wow my compost pile got huge!

We (mostly I) did 10 a couple weeks ago, by hand. We don't have a plucker. I could barely stand by the time we were done. The few JJ half did weren't even scalded properly & he had dumped my pan & returned it to the friend we borrowed it from before I realised how bad he had screwed up. I ended up skinning the last 4 because there was NO WAY the rest of the feathers were coming off after his severely lacking non-attempt at plucking. did you ever think that just maybe he did it on purpose so you would do it yourself next time

alot of them are smart that way, three or four was the most i could do in one day, if there had been room maybe my husband would have helped pluck but i don't like anyone in my kitchen, i would rather do it myself, i know, stupid
