Good lord you guys have been busy this morning LOL I skipped the coffee this morning and went right for a redbull after preschool drop off.

Hope all those with injuries feel better soon!!

I can't get over how fast my chicks have grown in almost a week!!
 
Really wish Sally would change her mind and stop in Sat,,,,and hope to see Chad (what you bringing me, you always bring something or return with something)

have not heard from Bruce lately either,,,anyone know how he is doing??

Hey folks! New user from Swarthmore here. (Maybe 1/2 hour outside of Philly.) We've got (8) red sex link hens, who will hopefully be laying in late august.

Quick question for anyone in the 'burbs around here: any of you folks know of a place that will process chickens? I'm thinking that I want to do a few meat birds next year, but I suspect the neighbors won't appreciate me doing it in the yard with all of the kids around...

There are a few on this thread who have plucker equipment that they have offered to travel with or that you may be able to take birds to. Just check to see who is close to you.
 
wow it is a busy morning....kilts, cartwheels, and folks falling down....well, just back from a feed run to pickering Valley feed....they still have a pretty good selection of birds(chicks,turkeys, pfouls) for those with room in their coops....

Thanks for all the laughs this morning everyone! :) I keep getting funny looks from my coworkers..... Maybe I should try to be more quiet. Hope all those with injuries get better soon. My eggers go in to lock down tomorrow. :) woo hoo! I'm not excited at all.... Lol my hatch day is saterday,and honestly I think it is best if I am NOT there. Then I won't be tempted to interven when I shouldn't. So I will go to the meet up instead! :) welcome back Sally!! Your incubation guide has been quite helpful!!!
