You are right over the hill. I am in between Unityville and Benton.
I am guessing by the turkeys and Ameraucanas that you may know Noriko?

Brittany, she is 11 yrs old, her normal weight was 158, she was weighed at 118 last week at the vet, so we're concerned. She is skin and bones and I like how her 'super hero cape' covers that up.. Congrats on the puppies, I didn't realize you could breed Merle, what color are you breeding her to?Thank you for the recipes and the jaw breakers were a huge hit! My son didn't believe it was candy, kept saying, 'yer lying. That's a ball." They certainly are the largest jaw breakers I've ever seen. The injured bird seems much better. Things could have been much worse, I had 3 brooders on the hill and all three were blown over, only one of them had birds in it. I think my injured girl must have been hunkered down next to a brooder when it went over, makes sense with her injury. Here's Peach the Dane this morning. She lost so much weight this year, we got her a coat to keep her warm. ![]()
aww how old is she? She is 2 and is at the right weight and she still hates the cold! Were did you even find a coat that was big enough for her? I dont want to think about ever losing my girl she is my baby. We have another Dane this week because we are breeding her and i dont even want to give him back...They are such awesome and sweet dogs!!!
Penciling & partridge are really the same thing. The only difference is which breed it is on. Just like colors are labeled different by breed, so are marking patterns. Partridge & penciling are borh just double lacing.

Blarney---love your dog picture.................such a great expression on her face! ......the coat kinda makes me think its a doggie super hero cape of sorts............not only does it provide some warmth but some super powers! cool
my chickens are all accounted for this morning.
I had a little issue with a coop door not closing well last night..........
I will need to fix it later................but they all seem fine and happy ........................they generally are quite a happy group! gotta love that!
Penciling
I'm really not sure which is preferred & wpuld not be suprised if that also varies by breed. The only way to know for sure is to check sop guidelines for each breed.
Thank you Silkie!....I get confused with these things sometimes..you read so much then everything starts to look like...INHGCVFXDXFHU...yeah, like that!
....was I al all okay with saying that breeders generally want a "U" shape and not a "V"...I am confused about this...some like the u others the v IDK
...or is it in just a concern to the breed and their SOP? Thank you again for clarification!
"You can do the Wazine, and should worm for sure, but just the other day I was realizing that fall last year was when my mite epidemic hit, UGH! Gonna kill all the pests with one stone and do the Ivermectin Pour On drops, and be a step ahead. Probably this weekend."
We went to TSC..they didn't have the Ivermectin(pour on)...they didn't have alot of things i thought would be obvious, but what do i know...disappointing really...Going to try to get the dosages figured out today, maybe if I start early enough I will get it

I have bantam cochin. I only had one nasty one out of 50 maybe. After a lot of training I got him to knock it off. It was not a bird I raised from the my place. They are really friendly. I highly recommend them.I have a personal opinion question.
Those of you with bantam roosters, which breed is the most human-friendly?
